My adventures with a camera at home and abroad
Photography has been a lifelong passion, influenced by a family background in the industry. My photographic career started in fashion, editorial, and advertising. A time that saw me working with some amazing people and where I learned that the art of taking a good photograph wasn’t the technical aspects of the equipment, but actually how you connected with your subject. Today, I enjoy revisiting that past life, meeting new and incredible people and capturing them for who they are.
More recently, I have been working on an art nude series that has seen me travel to some extraordinary and otherworldly locations to combine the beauty of nature with the human form. I firmly believe photos should be appreciated in printed form, and today I do this with my large format Giclée printer something that created enough interest to encourage me to set up a print shop. Wall Art
Making the image is only half the story.
Printing it brings it to life.

Travel Portfolio
I love to travel and always pack camera gear. My photography is rooted in a people-centric approach, exploring how individuals connect with their surroundings. Below are a few examples from some recent trips abroad.
Studio (and more) Work
I have always enjoyed taking photos in a studio environment. I like the technical aspects of it and enjoy being creative in a controlled space. I am fortunate to have my own dedicated studio at home and this is small collection of photos taken there, and on location and in other studios I use when I’m looking for something different.

Elemental Project
Elemental is the working title for my current project, a series of photographs taken in other worldly locations, combining the beauty of nature with the human form.
I have always enjoyed travelling, experiencing new cultures and admiring a planet that never ceases to surprise me. Most of all I relish working with people, especially those who share my passion for being creative. Somewhat ironically I struggle with traditional landscape photography alone, I have always needed to include a person in the frame to complete the image. Therefore, this project is a natural evolution, something that was always inside me, a need to combine the beauty of nature with the beauty of the human form. So far I have traveled to Utah, Malta, Gran Canaria, Death Valley, Lanzarote, Iceland and Italy seeking out alien looking landscapes to complement this project.

I’ve just returned from an amazing week in Fuerteventura, an island with a backbone of volcanoes and wild locations all surrounded by black sand beaches and hidden canyons. The nature of its location means it comes with unpredictable weather and lots of wind. The skies were often very moody, not ideal for tourists looking for a nice beach holiday this time of year, but volcanoes and black sand with soft light… that is my idea of a good time.
I had this trip planned for months. I’m pretty good at a remote recce, building a set of locations and travel times, when the light is best, plus what the tide timetable is like, if necessary. But none of that is needed if you don’t have someone to shoot with. So that is where this story starts.
It was back in May last year where I first met Irina Lozovaya. We shot together in a Chateaux in the South of France and despite the gorgeous building, we spent most of the time shooting outdoors. Both of us favouring nature over fine furnishings. Irina has a very natural way of connecting with her surroundings, it’s instinctive and I knew then that she’d be a great fit for my otherworldly project.
