Meet Leontine
I was told by a mutual friend, Meg, that I would enjoy working with Leo and she wasn’t wrong. Leo has a wonderful personality, she’s instantly friendly and has so much talent, of which I only saw a glimpse. I have a fondness for 90’s fashion (a nod to a past life working in the industry at the time) and it was as if Leo came oven ready for this very genre. Her appearance is one of fierce looks and strong poses that suggested she lives her life by the turn of a page in a publication by Conde Nast. This girl is fashion first.
She’s also a bit of a human juxtaposition (and I mean that in the nicest way). These were a few words that came to mind when we shot together:
Powerful and friendly. Fierce and fragile. Tall but tiny. Strong but gentle. Cool and kind
A wonderful collection of attributes that has formed to make the Leo cocktail. It’s fair to say that she used these and many more when we shot together, making each shot special. I hope you enjoy the images below. Believe me, I have more of Leo to edit!
Behind the scenes with Leo
Precious few BTS photos with leo, but I think that is becuase we maximised the actual shooting time and then enjoyed a gossip about the photo industry at the end of each day.
What you can’t see is a Stefan, Leo’s other half who joined us for the shoot and is actually the musically gifted one, despite the image below.
If shoots are about images and happy memories, this was an especially good one!
